FAQ

How much does a website cost?

There is no answer to this question as it depends on so many options. Normally a small website for an individual with approximately 6 to 10 pages will take 30 hours to design, code and upload to the internet. This part can be achieved for €500.

An important point to note is that most websites are not a one-time investment. Websites need to updated, redesigned, expanded, reworked, pared back, and have new functionality added. Nothing is worse than finding websites that look like they were built around 1995 and have not been updated since.

So there is an annual cost for hosting and the domain name subscription (the name of your website). This is around €70 per annum.

With this basic website we provide a simple CMS (content management system) that allows you to add and delete text and images on your site. We train you to use this as part of the initial site cost.

If you prefer to have us do this for you, we have an annual maintenance agreement starting from €50.

So a rough total for a basic website is €570 (including VAT) and €70 every year after that until the site needs an upgrade.
